Worst MLS Photo of The Moment

So Is It Just Half A House For Sale??

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…real estate agents are a different breed.  You know, whoever took this pic felt like they weren’t getting paid enough!  Or if they were they felt their income should be doubled..

“If you’re going to pay me half of what I’m worth then you’ll get half a photo!”

Do they even sell regular film camera’s anymore? Aren’t all camera’s digital pretty much?  I mean you had to be able to preview this before you drove away from the house, right? Oh well…the MLS is littered with photos like this.

It’s the market.  When you’ve got a seller who’s a lender, they don’t check up on things like they should and you get half assed attempts at professionalism.  I’ve learned to accept it.

Worst MLS Photo of the Moment

“Open Says Me”

All I can do is chuckle to myself.

You know, I don’t search for these, they just find me.  And I’m glad they do because I get endless enjoyment from them.

Here is another exquisite marketing photo from our very own multiple listing service.  I find myself looking at it as if I were at the Louvre, getting lost in thought and the finally wondering out loud to myself “what does it mean?”

That said, it is a very nice door.  I bet it’s a better deal at Home Depot!

Worst MLS Photo of the Moment

“For Sale – Fourplex in Sacramento”

This would be funny if it weren’t so sad!  LOL!  While looking for an investment property for a client of mine, I ran across this beautiful fourplex in Sacramento.

Where you ask?  Right there, can’t you see it?  This photo looks like it could be a golf course or a park.

I know there has to be a fourplex in there somewhere.  Amazing.  This is the lead photo and goes out to all of the real estate related internet sites throughout the world!  Am I the only agent who knows that?

Worst MLS Photo of the Moment

Quick!  For Sale!  A Dirt Front Yard!  Won’t Last!

The thing that’s the most entertaining about this photo is that they took it in near darkness!  Not only did they take one but two pictures of the front yard!

This is hilarious.  Although these were what the listing agent considered the best side of the home, the interior pictures were slightly better.  Bravo!

Other than a nice blue door, I have no idea what the “curb appeal” is here!  Concrete work looks good though!

The True Definition of a Drive By Shooting

I have a client in Las Vegas who has made a  name for himself by including the “worst MLS photo of the week” category on his site.  I tune in just for the photos as, in Las Vegas, they can be really bad.

While searching for good deals in Sacramento homes for a non resident investor, I came across this one.  It cracked me up so I thought I’d share.

In some areas of Sacramento, like all cities, there are some areas you just want to drive through.  I guess this was one of those areas!  Potential speed limit infraction here!

Now that’s Web 2.0 marketing!

Realtors are a constant source of entertainment for me.  This is part of the reason why.  Enjoy!
