“I purchased a condominium in 2004 as an initial primary residence with hopes to eventually turn it into a profitable rental property. Once my husband and I started our family, we needed to move into a larger residence and began renting out the property. “My husband and I met Rob Saxe in January 2010 when we were interested in buying our 1st home. My husband Dustin found Rob on Craigslist and decided to schedule a meeting with him to interview him to see if he would be a good fit for us. We had talked with a few other realtors before that, and had a few bad experiences. Some realtors we met were awful at communicating with us, others were like bad car salesman, and some were straight up rude and told us we were too picky when we gave them our requirements and price range for a home. After just a few minutes, we knew that Rob was the best realtor for us and what we were looking for. He was extremely friendly, took an interest in our concerns and never made us feel like we were not his highest priority.
After deciding to go with Rob as our realtor, we started the hunt for a home to purchase. Rob explained the whole short sale process in great detail and was there for us every step of the way. As most people know, buying a short sale is an extremely long, stressful and emotional process, and having an amazing realtor can make or break the whole process for you. Rob defiantly did his job 110% the entire time we worked with him. Communication is one of Rob’s best qualities as a realtor; when we would email him, no matter what time or day of the week, he would get back to us within 20 to 30 minutes! If we wanted to see a house on a Sunday afternoon, all it took was a short call to Rob and he would have it lined up for us within just a few hours. He would answer our phone calls and no never made us feel rushed or like we were wasting his time.
After meeting Rob in January, we found the home we wanted by February and put in our offer. Then we entered the dead zone of waiting for the bank to respond. Most realtors at this point, push you to the side and work on other clients while you simply wait to hear from the bank, not Rob though. He would touch base with us at least twice a week to just check in and see how we were doing and report any news he had at that time. Most of the time, he did not have any new updates for us, but he let us know that he was always working on our deal and was ready to go into escrow when the time came. Just as luck would have it, the bank came back to us when Rob was on vacation with him family! But that did not stop him from working on it and getting it going without a hitch!
After several months of waiting and preparing, we purchased our 1st home in June 2010 and I know that it would not have been possible if we had not had Rob as our realtor. Not only is Rob a great realtor, but we now call him a friend and have referred him to our closest family members, who have since used him to buy their new homes in the past few months.”
