The Secret To Buying A Home In Sacramento
Multiple Offers Making It Tough On Buyers
With some buyers making 15 to 30 offers on existing homes throughout the region without getting one accepted, buyer frustration is at an all time high.
I’ve made offers for some of my clients $15,000 to $20,000 over list only to get beat out by either another offer or the listing agents client. ( call me if you have a question on this )
There is one sure fire way to still get a great deal on a home and not compete with anyone in the process.
Sound too much like 2007? Well it’s here and it’s a strategy that I’m advising all of my clients to consider.
I’ve worked with two buyers who have taken this advice and have been able to comfortably buy a very nice home, in better shape than ANY foreclosed or short sale home on the market.
What is this $64,000 idea? Read on!
Buy A New Construction Home
I get emails every week from new home builders who have GREAT deals to sell. Move in ready specials in some of the nicest communities in the region.
With a new home, you’re not dealing with someone else’s problem. There won’t be any toenail clippings, to be found later, in the carpet! Not to mention your purchase is covered with builders warranties that beats up on any home warranty you could get from a seller of an existing home.
Right now, it’s 3:20pm on Friday, 10/16. At 3:08pm I got an email from William Lyon Homes who said that they’ve just completed their last three homes in their community and did I know anyone who would like a great deal on a new home?
I get emails like this almost every day.
It’s Deal Time In New Home Construction!
It’s not like that headline is anything new, it’s been deal time in new homes for a few years. However, this time of year tends to be when home builders come out of
the woodwork offering incentives and higher discounts prompting many home buyers to purchase now.
Tired of writing offers only to be rejected cause you got outbid by an all cash investor? Running out of time for the first time home buyer tax credit?
Give me a call and I can walk you through the process of buying a new home at the best price possible. I worked with a national home builder for a while and know the tips and tricks to getting you the best deal possible.
Thanks for visiting!

Same thing up here in Bellingham, Robert. Two Thursdays ago my clients paid 118% of list price to FINALLY get a house, after losing multiples others through the summer. We need the Associated Press to pick up those headlines now and again!
